Having worked for years as a cameraman, editor and director for television and high profiled production companies, Dimitri Ghijs, founder of Framecat, became more and more aware of the fact that there was a need for easy accessible film & documentary productions. The technique nowadays allows an experienced small team to deliver high quality productions with reasonably modest material. Moreover, a compact crew is flexible and easy to communicate with. This way the client is more involved and the final result corresponds with the initial requirements. This knowledge, combined with experience, passion for music and cinematography, together with the desire to offer a platform for new bands, is the first cornerstone of Framecat. The other keystone, which is an addiction for history, literature, documentaries and screenplays, is formed by Kristien De Brouwer.
